Create Database Of Install Info As Per MS Instructions

Getting way too many Stop errors which am unable to
correct (tried hard).

While searching for answers I saw an elegant piece by MS
to create a database of who what when where why (so to
speak)of various installations (hardware and software).

Have been unable to find it again.

Would anyone know where it is?

Probably msinfo32 (start/run).
