Create a Default View in My Computer Window

Hello, I am wondering how I can create a default view in My Computer. You
know how you have the option to view a file as a list, a thumbnail, details,
etc? Well I would like to have my My Computer view have a default view of
List when I go to view my documents.

If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

This is a question for a Windows group, not a Word group.
