Hello All, I am new to Access 2003, and I need some help. I would like to
create a database to keep track of potential Leads. I want to keep the
contact information of all Leads or Referrals I get from websites, marketing
ads, and other people's referrals. In addition, I would like to keep track
of the leads I give to other employee's so that I can keep track on who is
working on who. Plus, I would like to keep track of the Vendor's I deal with
and the cost's involved working with each vendor. Is there a way of creating
these "tables" and relating them in someway? If someone could please help
guide me in this, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks Bryan

Why don't you start with one of the many available templates on the
microsoft website, then modify it to meet your specific needs?

I am not sure if those templates are what I need, and I'm not sure how to
modify them, I am new to Access. Basically, I think I thought of the
necessary tables, but now I need to learn how to create them and how to
relate them in someway.

To create a table, open Access; click the Tables tab; click the "New
Table" button; start adding fields.

To relate your tables, click the Relationships icon (three datasheet
images joined by lines); drag the Primary Key from the "one" side
table to the corresponding Foreign Key in the "many" side table. On
the window which will open, select the "Enforce Relational Integrity"
checkbox.

That all sounds good, but I had another question to ask, does anyone know of
anybody in NJ that can help me setup this database. I have it sort of
planned out, but need help creating and setting up the database.

Bryan I am currently developing a very similar database. Maybe we can email
outside of this discussion and talk more about what your looking for.

That would be great, Chris; hope you two can work well together.
