CRC error message

when my windows start up, i'm receiving this message:
Settings[1].exe -- CRC error! File content has been
modified. If you run a system debugger, clear all
breakpoints before running this program!

Check msconfig for extra startup entries. Do a search for the file and delete
it.

I hear this is a new spyware program. So most spyware defs haven't updated
yet.

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Error Reporting -> Choose Programs
-> Do not report errors for these programs:

Acrobat.exe
waol.exe

OShaw, Many thanks, I had the very same CRC problem and all it took was
your advice to just delete the the startup[1].exe file. I don't know where
it came from or how I picked it up but the error message no longer comes up
