Newbie on this forum! Thanks in advance.
2 different scenarios:
1. A user receives multiple attachments with different extensions (.ppt, .doc, .xls, etc...). They edit a document without saving them to the HDD and when they select save and forward the attachments on the attachment extensions have switched between the documents. Yes the user can save the attachments and rename the files with correct extensions to resolve the problem but most users do not know how to do this. Im wondering why this is happening. Does it have something to do with the temporary location that the documents are saved in while editing?
2. A user receives an attachment and edits this attachment without saving the document to the HDD. They save it and forward and there are now two attachments with the exact same name????? Its basically duplicating the attachment.
I understand I can tell these users to save all attachments to their HDD before editing and re-attach before they forward the message on but if they receive many attachments its kind of a pain to have to save them all and then re-attach.
Any thoughts?????
Thanks all.....
