i seem to have an annoying problem with a couple of my newly upgraded vista
computers.
1. for some odd reason i cant access my documents, my pictures, my videos
folders . keeps on crashing, explorer, not internet explorer. i cant manage
to go through any of my files or surf through my computer. its annoying and i
cant find the solution to this problem anywhere. Its always saying that it is
restarting and then says its looking for a solutiong. i cant even manage to
load up Microsoft Update. Internet Explorer works fine and the internet in
general is great, but i cant manage to run anything internally.

2. on my other computer i cant manage to log into a network. again, i
managed to download the updates from linksys but nothing seems to work. It
says that it is logged into the network but whenever i want to run something
like IE or Firefox, it says there is no connection even when it cleary
states that there is a connection.

If there is anyone out there that knows the solution to any of these to
problems please let me know.
thanks

Explorer crashes on me all the time as well. have not found a solution
around it yet either.

I suggest both of you check the Problem Reports and Solutions (All Programs
Maintenance), View Problem History, right click any of problems associated
with the applications or explorer that has been crashing, click View
details, copy it and paste it back in a reply so we can better diagnose the
problem.

Here is my solution:

According to what I see from that date, you're running Tortoise SVN, right?
I would suggest either following up with them for an update or removing that
extension for now.
