One computer always crashes when trying to encode a avi to dvd files. I
have tried DIKO and WinAVI and many others. What I mean by crash is the
computer abruptly restarts somewhere along the way. It even does this in
safe mode. I thought that the avi file might be bad so I tried the file and
winavi on another computer and it works ok so the problem is unique to this
computer. The computer has a shuttle MB with amd athlon 2400+ proc with
512meg and 160gig c drive. I also have a d drive and a few usb hard drives
as well as 2 dvd burners on the machine. But this restarting problem has me
puzzled. All suggestions are welcome please.
