crash during virus scan

Every time I scan for viruses...i crash..blue screen...white words...hate
them! Geek squad tried to help remotely but could not......microsoft sends
back " error
msg..STOP0x000000EA THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER... and my lEXMARK 6150
isn't printing too well sometimes......Help please, not the smartest with
puters.

go to the control panel click display, click settings tab, click advance,then
troubleshoot-move hardware accelation slider to none, clear enable write
combining, click apply, click ok--if that doesnt work then install most
current driver for your video card--mines doing the same thing only when i
try to turn on my callwave answering machine--hope this works for you
