Crash after Windows Update

System crashes on shutdown.

Have attempted to use the windows restore utility but this
seems to stop other things working.

Problem occurs after "Saving Your Settings and Windows is
shutting down" then get blue screen with crash message

My whole computer crashed after trying to update. Would
give anything now not to have even fooled with it. I got
to find a professional to help get it back up and
running. Got some important informationg that i need
retrieved on documents I was working on this morning.~Gay
