cpu at 100%

I believe this is a normal state and what you are seeing

is the cpu ideling (not processing) 100%. Leave task
manager open and run something else and you can see the
numbers move.

The Systems Process Idle Process is exactly what it says it is -
IDLE.....
Waiting.....
Hoping.....
Passing Time.....
Like You - Watching...............

Nothing is wrong.

"System Idle Process" is just the name for what the system is
doing when it's not doing anything. It's there to make the total
add up to 100%.
