CPAO Templates

I am wanting a template that does not have the dates of the month printed in
the middle of the calendar. Is there any way to get them to go away, or find
a monthly template that doesn't show them like that. I'm wanting them in the
upper left corner.

I downloaded a template, but it's in Word and I don't know how to make it
show up in CPAO.

Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by "does not have the dates of the month printed
in the middle of the calendar". What would be the point of the calendar
with no dates or even being connected to the Outlook calendar? If all
you want is a grid, then no calendar is involved and the Word template
should work just fine.

the word templates are not usable in the CPA. You can edit the *.catx
though.

Look in your Templates folder for the template you want to modify - it has a
'.catx' extension.
Rename the file with an extension of '.zip' and unzip the files to a new
folder.
In new folder, look for the CAL folder and open the content.xml file with
Notepad.
Look for the DAYFORMAT tag in the lower part of the file.
Now look for the CalendarText tag under DAYFORMAT and edit the properties as
desired.
Save the content.xml file (it may be Read Only so change the properties to
Save it).
ZIP all files in your new folder to Template_Name.zip and then rename it
Template_Name.catx
Copy the modified file to your Template folder, open Calendar Print
Assistant and look at your changes.

I meant, that the dates are listed very large in greyscale in the center of
the day box. I would rather them be small, to the corner of each day. J

Oh, that makes sense. Perhaps use a XML editor, Microsoft has one for
downloading, I have never used it though.
