Couple problems, AOL, OnScreen

B

Brian

When I installed XP on my computer to take over windows 98
everything went really good. I did however have problems
after I had XP. When I connected to the internet through
AOL I couldn't goto websites. Every time I put in a url
it would not even try to load and would automatically
say "This page can not open" or whatever. Then I found
that I couldn't use my AOL Instant Messanger. The regular
Instant Messanger that comes with AOL 5.0 worked fine.
Also, when I tried to adjust the volume with my Volume
control on my keyboard, it wouldn't show up on the screen
like it does with 98. If I turn the volume up/down, I get
a thing on the screen that reads "Volume" and shows the
markings to tell me how high the volume is.

Any help is appreciated,
Brian
