Counting rows and naming columns

I'm creating a spreadsheet that is basically a list of items sold for
the month. Each item entered is unique. There are various cloumn names
such as "stock number", "customer name", "profit", etc.

How do I set it up so that the first few rows that I'm using for column
names, etc are repeated on each page?

Is it possible for excel to count the items automatically and only
print the items as they are entered?

This month I might sell 25 individual items and next month I might sell
150, I'd like to be able to have the spreadsheet automatically for the
size of the data.

Thanks!

1. Put your cursor in Column A of the first row of data, and hit
Window-->Freeze panes. I also strongly suggest you put your headings in ONE
ROW ONLY. If you need more than one LINE for your heading, use ALT+ENTER to
get a paragraph return in your cell.

2. No.

3. Use Data-->Autofilter to get just "this months" data.

Hi,

The easyiest way is to create the first sheet, then make a copy
(easyway hold ctrl, click the shhet tab and drag to the right/end of
the sheet tabs, rename sheet). Use the 1st sheet and next month use
the sheet you copyied (after copyng it agian!!!))

NB: Frezzing window panes will not nmake the contents repeat on other
sheets.

you can add a Print button to your worksheet and add some code like
this:

ActiveSheet.PageSetup.PrintArea = ActiveSheet.UsedRange
ActiveSheet.PrintOut

try(from menus), Viwe > page barke previwe / normal wehn you have run
this code

this method is not flawless.

You may find it more usefull in the long run in you keep all you data
on one sheet habe a "Month" colum, and use a filter - it's up to you.

Good Luck

If you want the headers to repeat on each page printed, look at the last tab
in the page setup dialog at rows to repeat at the top.
