How can Word tell me when I've used the same word (i.e., malestrom) more than
once in a document? WordPerfect has a feature that will list alphabetically
all the words in a document, as well as indicate the number of times each
words was used. When you're drafting a document it isn't hard to use the
same word over again, but it usually isn't desireable to have certain words
pop up a second or subsequent time. Can anyone help me?

You could also look for words marked as misspelled, since the word I think
you're looking for is "maelstrom." <g>

Depending on your version of Word, select the word in question and in the
Find dialog box choose Whole Document, then click Find All. You'll get a
count of all instances forund.
