CountIf

Hello,
Using Excel XP, I would like to count the number of occurences that fall
between two numbers. For example, I would like to count how many occurences
that are between 5 and 10 in A1:A7. I tried =COUNTIF(A1:A7,">=5,<=10 ")
but it does not return the correct value. Any help would be appreciated.

One way:

=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A100>=5)*(A1:A100<=10))

I got it to work...
=COUNTIF(A1:A7;">=5")-COUNTIF(A1:A7;">10")

Hi Mike.......

You were given two answers that worked in less than 30 minutes after your
original post. But, it's even "more-better-great" that you were able to
figure it out for yourself. Sometimes all it takes to make you see things
more clearly is to try to verbalize your problem to someone else. That's
just another benefit of these fine Newsgroups.
