Countdown clock???

Dear all

I need to create a presentation with a 'countdown clock'. We have a big
project beginning in 6 months' time and my Manager would like to create a
presentation which will contain a countdown clock to when the project starts.

One of my colleagues (who has now left the company) had one of these on his
desktop but I don't know how he did it or whether you can put it into a
presentation.

Not really. You can always get ready-made samples.
Such as the ones from Microsoft. ;-)

sorry if this sounds stupid but how would I edit/set one up for 4 months??
These are for 10 mins etc.

If so, you probably need something a countdown utility that does this kind of
work.
I haven't tried this out yet, but "Countdown!" seems to be what you are
looking for. You probably want to give it a try:

Maybe the tool Powerpoint from http://www.kibase.com can help. It has
a function for timer and a embedded clock.

That's exactly what I need. If I can get that in a PowerPoint presentation,
that would be perfect.

That's ideal. It gives you a countdown for whatever you like. I have
created it as a shortcut on my desktop and you can also add it to your
SysTray, however, any idea how you get this into a PowerPoint presentation??
I can't find anything...
