Count(*)

Hi I have a report with 4 sub reports which each have a count(*) in them. I
was wondering if there's anyway to total these counts for each group called
housing status. What I would ultimately like is either a count of all
subgroups or just a counter that says if there was a subreport then count =
count + 1; It doesn't matter to me which way it is implemented so long as i
have a number to start with.

Or maybe it would be easier to show only records that have at least one of
the 4 subforms, not sure how to do this either?
