Count number of "records" displayed in a list box

I have a form with a list box that displays the results of a filter. The
filter is applied by a command button. I would like to have a text box that
shows the count of the records in the list box after the filter is applied.
I searched the Discussion Group and tried DCount but couldn't get it to work
when I reference the list box. What am I doing wrong? Excuse my ignorance, I
am new to this.

Is there any way for you to extract or copy the filter criteria? You
wouldn't necessarily reference the list box control in DCount. You need the
criteria that results in the list box's data. Try following the command
button's code.
