Count Formula

I am trying to count the # of instances in a column that the criteria is >13
but <20

I was trying countif(a5:a20,">13",a:5:a:20,"<20") but it's not working. Can
someone help and let me know what I am doing wrong?

Try this one : =SUMPRODUCT(--(A5:A20>13),--(A5:A20<20))
