Count distinct values

Hello!

I cannot figure out how to count distinct values in a
report. The table may have more than one record for an
entity, but I would like to count each entity only once.
Thank you for your help. Any ideas are appreciated!

Example records:

ID Service
123 aud
123 aid

count of distinct id's: 1

Have you considered creating a unique query. A query
where you set the property to unique value.

The easiest method is to create a group header for the ID field. Add a text
box in the group header:
Name: txtCountID
Control Source: =1
Running Sum: Over All
Visible: No
Add a text box to the report footer
Control Source: =txtCountID
