When I click on a link in a particular web page, instead
of the link opening I get an error message

"Internet Exploreer could not perform this operation
because the default mail client is not properly installed"

Help! I've been trying to fix this for 2 days. Any help
would be appreciated.

You did not indicate exactly what you have tried to fix the problem, but,
you might try the following if you have not already done so and see if it
will help:

In Internet Explorer, click "Tools", "Internet Options", "Programs" tab,
then in the "Email:" box, select a default email client (such as "Outlook
Express").
