could not load type global

I have a web app that I run on my local machine. I
copied it into the production server of my client and
when I try to start it I get the message:

could not load type global

line 1

I have rebuilt the app (using build|build solution) and
copied over everything from my machine to the server.
what else am i missing?

I dont know what the problem is but it got something to do with your
global.asax / global.asax.cs files.
