Could not find installable isam

Hi There,
I have a trading program which needs trading values downloaded monthly.
I have two more or less the same computers that I run the program on and
with one all works well, with the other I get a "could not find installable
isam" error.
The machines are XP SP2.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Buster

I'm sorry, but I don't know what "installable isam" means. I can't even
figure out what this word could mean even if you just misspelled it.
However, you should contact the trading program's tech support for help
with their software. That is their error message and they will know what
it means and how to fix it.

ISAM = Indexed Sequential Access Method - not that that helps much...

Hi There,
Thanks for the response.
ISAM = Indexed Sequential Access Method
The help desk at the program suppliers think I have a corruped MDAC but
couldn't fix it.
Any further thoughts?
Cheers

That sort of response is not helpfull and you don't have to shout!
If you can't be nice don't bother!
A better response would be to tell me where it would be more appropriate to
post the problem that I have.
I think you have issues mate!

By now, perhaps you've realized that speaking in acronyms isn't
particularly helpful, either. Personally, in my background, MDAC
(pronounced Mac-Dac) meant McDonnell-Douglas Astronautics (or Aircraft)
Company.
