"Could not find Acrobat External Window Handler."

Hello, this pop up box is creating havoc with my navigating the web. It
appears when I get the yellow line on top of web pages suggesting I dowload
Active X, I have re-installed Adobe Flash Player9 and Adobe Reader7 but to no
avail. Would anybody have any suggestions.
I tought maybe if I un-install IE6 and re-install it I could possibly solve
the problem? but do not know how to un-install IE6. Anyway it may not be the
thing to do.
