Corrupted Video Files?

When I download a video off of the net, it is downloaded as a FLV (flash
video) file. So i downloaded a free program called Super that encodes the
file into another type like avi, but when I try to instert it into Movie
Maker, it says the file is not valid or corrpted. I don't know what I can do
to get the files into Movie Maker. If anyone can help, I would greatly
appreciate it!

maybe that's not the right page.... see the Import Movie Source Files >
Video > Video Codecs page for info a about the compression codecs of AVI
files that work OK with Movie Maker.

When you use a utility to do a conversion, you need to select an appropriate
codec.
