I have a problem that I previsouly posted where files I delete do not get
sent to the recycle bin - even though they are set to in the properties of
the bin as well as in the appropriate location in the registry.
A "Gary Smith" replied to me that:
"This might be due to corruption of the Recycle Bin itself. Try deleting it
to see if that repairs the problem. Open a command prompt and type "rd /s
Recycler" Windows will create a new Recycle Bin when it's needed."
I am concerned with doing this - how does windows "Create a new recycle bin
when it's needed?" When does it know it's needed? I don't want to screw
anything else up worse than it is.
thanks in advance.
