corrupted file

Hello....

A MDE database was mistakenly deleted. I unerased it
using Norton system works and the file appears to be
entact... normal file size etc... but it causes an error
when access tries to open it.... Have tried the compact
and repair on the file... but appears to do nothing... is
there anything that can be done?

try using the *hidden* /decompile switch on the DB (hold SHIFT)

You could try importing the objects into a new MDB. If that will even
work as I've never tried that.

Presumably the MDB is still available somewhere for you to recreate
the MDB though.
