I'm using Office mac 2004. I have edited a 2 books from pc origins and
created 2 large files ( ) for some reason the larger one is not saving now..
it will not save as a rtf or as a pdf. Because I did not originally set up
the file I am not sure if something has been activated to stop this or the
file has corrupted... this file took me about a month to make!! urgh I have
gone back to try and open an earlier version but where I have worked on it it
shows no record of being open when I save it as another type of file it goes
through the motions but does not seem to exist when it is finished... not
sure how to fix this... can anyone help me??

Copy and paste parts of it into new files and save them. With luck you
should be able to isolate where the corrupt part is.

Hi Graham thankyou very much for your reply... tried this for about an hour
but I can't seem to isolate what is making it seize. Is there a program
which can 'clean' my file? Its hard when you don't know much about computers!!

I know little about the Mac version - try the MacWord forum.
