Hey guys I recently had to replace my old OS harddrive and copy all
partitions from the old harddrive to the new one. I have one computer with
several users on a WinXP pro SP2 OS environment. On several occasions when
singing on to the users account environment the following message appears:
"Recycle bin on D:\ is corrupt. Would you like to empty the contents
(Yes/No)." I have answered YES several times to some of these messages, and
they will reappear on subsequent signins or startups. What is the best way
to permanently resolve this issue? Thanks in advance . . .Tom J.

possibly delete Recycler folder or at least its contents

Recycler folder has "hidden" attribute!

Thanks guys for the quick response. This is indeed one of the
"Hidden/System" files that I am not sure would be regened if I attempted to
delete the folder altogether? I am not trying to go in and delete its'
independent content. At the present time files & folders that are contained
in these Recycle bins have the same attributes as the Recycle folder itself.
When I attempt to alter the attributes in a MS-DOS prompt, I get the
response that the system will not reset the hidden file C:\Recycler, so I am
wondering if the system has a special utility which will allow me to correct
this problem? \

Thanks again . . . Tom J
