We have some tif image files on our system that have
corrupted headers and we have been unable to delete them
in Explorer. Has anyone had this problem and solved it?

Right click on the files choose Properties and remove the Read Only
attribute. Then delete.

Do a clean boot, then don't open Explorer on that folder , so that it is
not trying to get into the files. Use All Programs - Accessories -
Command Prompt, navigate to the folder with CD and use the DEL command
to delete the files (possibly with the DOS style ? or * wild cards if
they have similar names)
