corrupt file

when trying to get on windows xp proffesional i keep getting told
that:-system32/DRIVERS/isapnp.sys is corrupt, how can i rectify this

Hi

Copy/paste that file from the windows\system32\dllcache folder to the
windows\system32\drivers folder and see if you get the same error message.

thanks for tip but have slight problem that i cant get windows to work so pc
wont come on

be able to use it on my other pc as i cant even get on in safe modehi again,
will i be able to copy onto a disc from my other pc, and if so where do i
find the part i need to copy/paste, and will i be able to put it on my other
pc if i cant even get on in safe mode

On the same screen as Safe Mode - try 'Last Known Good Configuration'.
