Hello,
For the past 10-12 years I've been working as independent Desktop Support
Administrator/Helpdesk Administrator/PC III (Server)Tech & Field Supervisor.
I am upgrading my skill set to DB Administration & Development. I would like
to be an administrator & developer for mobile, wireless networks & become
certified. I do not have ANY idea as to go about doing this. What platforms
(OS / HW) should I concentrate on. How do I go about becoming certified as a
DB & getting certified on HW to support the mobile & wireless environments.
What affiliation should I be pursuing???

Can/will someone point me to the right information-resources to obtain my
quest????

Thank you,

Charles L. Phillips

If you want a Network Certification then you want to following the MCSE
program. If you want to become a database administrator, then you would get
your MCSD. If you want to learn how to fix computers etc, then you would
work for your A+ Certification. All these certifications can be quite
expensive, so be prepared to sink close to 10,000 per certification and that
is just for the classes. The test are about 100.00 each.

Hello,
"Thank You" for your comments & suggestions, but I do not feel you have
given me an insight to the question(s) I asked. For instance, what training
or skills is needed to become an MS-Access Administrator or Developer???
What are/is the necessary skills to develop a db for mobile or wireless
networks??? Where can I find MORE information on the question(s) I asked???
Please, do not take what I'm saying as not being "Thankful", because I am
"Thankful" for what you said. I just need more info...

Thank you,

Charles L. Phillips
