hi...
i am just a dumb blonde, but how can i keep the date on my files when i drag
(and copy) to a cd. it always changes the file date to the date of copy. so i
end up with 100 files all dated today, which means i cannot tell when each
file was created. is there a setting to keep the date? (with nero you can,
but i cant seem to see anything on windows, when you simply drag and drop,
and then copy)
thanks
lyn

Hi Lyn,

The burning engine in WinXP is limited in functionality, and there is no
option to retain the original creation date. As you have discovered, the
solution is to not use WinXP's burning function but rather something like
Nero to do this. Not so dumb.
