Copying text

I receive job alerts to my email address and some ask to upload resumes and
cover letters, how can I copy the text of a basic cover letter I've got in
Word to the open form I've got in my email which is directly linked to the
job application? I know it sounds confusing but I would appreciate the help
as it's a pain having to type a whole letter out many times when perhaps I
could just copy and paste...have tried to, but when you get to the job
application doc there's no tool bar at the top obviously, to paste the letter
in...help..
 
have you tried shortcut keys, ie Ctrl C for copy and Ctrl V for paste
