Copying text from cells if first letter of text is ( )

I asked this in another NG, but nobody could help me so thought I would try
here:-

I have 12 different sheets in a file, one for each month of the year. Now,
in column K of each sheet, from cells K7:K31, I have (or will have) a list
of surnames. Not all cells will be filled in. Maybe only cells K7:K20 will
have text in, but my range does actually go from K7:K31.

Now I have created 3 new sheets entitled, "A-H" "I-O" and "P-Z". Now, what I
would like is to automatically search the surnames within column K of the 12
monthly sheets, and copy any surnames beginning with the respective letter
into its sheet, ie. HARRISON, C to be copied into sheet "A-H", WILLIAMS, J
to be copied into "P-Z"

Any ideas?
