Copying results only?

Is there any way of copying the results of a formula (be it text or a
number) into a blank cell & losing the formula information.i.e. having the
amswer(result) as text (or a number) only.

Hi
- copy the source cell
- goto 'Edit - Paste Special' and choose 'Value'
