Copying Publisher to Word

I have in the past been able to use the Avery Wizard to copy Business cards
designed in Publisher but they need to be in Word Format. Now when I do it
with Word 2003 and Publisher 2002 it will not accept it. If I reinstall my
old version of Word it works. Any ideas?

Huh?

I'm not quite fully awake and that just didn't make sense. You're saying you
have business cards designed in Publisher and now you want them in Word?
Why? And lets say you have some perfectly valid reason for doing so, copy
and paste the design. It may need a little tweaking but it'll work.

When you mix the editions of Office apps (XP/2002 and 2003 in
this case) the way some elements are treated via the clipboard
may vary from what you would get with using the same versions.

The use of the 3rd party Avery Wizard could also complicate
this. See if using Edit=>Paste Special in Word after grouping,
locking and copying from Publisher helps.

for There really is a valid reason-- I am president of a group of therapy dog
owners. We each have business cards when we go into hospitals we hand them
out. No one has the ability to open a Publisher files but me-- though it is
way easier to design the cards in Publisher. 95% of the members can open the
Word files. If you can help to make it easier on us I would really be
grateful. The only way I know to make it possible for all to be able to open
and use the file is the way I have been doing it.

Hi, Mutt. I think you could resolve it by getting yourself a free or cheap
PDF Writer. Send the BCs to your members as PDFs, which anyone can use.
