copying one slide to another

Thanks Sonia for your answer. What I am trying to do is
hide information slides underneath another picture so that
they will come in on a mouse click. Preferably different
information depending which area of the picture slide is
clicked. I have 2 presentations, one on Boat building and
a more simple one on my Garden layout.

Thanks again

You might consider replying in the original thread, rather than starting a new one with each reply. Makes it a lot easier to follow along.

I think I'd be more inclined to have a multitude of slides, that are linked to various parts of the main slide. This would give you the opportunity to jump back and forth, depending on what you want your final result to look like.

Then you want to "link" to the slide. Select the picture, right click on
it, select Action Settings, select Hyperlink, and then select "Slide..." and
follow the dialog to identify and select the slide of your choice. You can
make these additional slides "hidden" by placing them at the end of your
presentation, go to Slides Show > Hide Slide. Also include a button on the
hidden slide and link the button to "Previous". Now the secquence will
be - - when you arrive at the slide with the picture you can click on the
picture, the show will jump to the "hidden" information slide, and when you
are finished there, click on the button to return to the picture slide. The
"information" slides at the end will not otherwise show up in the normal
sequence of playing the slide show because they are "hidden".
