Copying information from 1 WB to another and loosing style

Hi,

I have workbook with information that is set up correctly. I have to
however, copy and paste sections into a new workbook. When I paste the
information into the new WB, all of the original style, alignment and
colors, etc. are lost. Is there a way to maintain this information?

Instead of copy-pasting the cells, why don't you right click on the tabs you
need and Move/Copy them to the other book.

Then delete whatever it is that you don't want to keep.

If that doesn't work try, copy, then edit > paste special (formats, column
widths, formulas)
