copying from excel to powerpoint

When I am copying from excel to powerpoint, the font colors aren't carrying
over as they exist in excel. Instead, it's all coming over as black. What
can I do to fix this?

Set up a color printer as your default printer. You don't have to have the
printer, just the drivers. Weird as it sounds, it works....
