copying formula down

*There has to be an easier way to do this*. I am copying a formula i
make in the first cell down to like cell 35000 in that same column. How
can i do this quickly w/o clicking on the cell after the formula and
dragging down for like 2 minutes to cell 35000?

Click on the cell with the formula (say A1) and COPY
Then, in the name box, put A2:A35000 and press enter.
Then Paste (CTRL/V)

This should fill the selection with your formula.

Copy the formula, select the entire column by clicking on top of the column,
and then do a paste or paste special & select formula.

Here's a keyboard shortcut you can take advantage of: practice a bit
first. Hold down the SHIFT key and press END and the down arrow. This
will highlight the range from your starting point to the first
non-blank cell. So: go to row like 35001 and type an X or your
initials or some other thing. Then go to the first formula cell and
press CTRL-C (to copy it into the clipboard); go to the first cell you
want to copy it to, then hold SHIFT and press END DOWN to highlight the
entire range. Press CTRL-V to paste into that range.

Another alternative is to hide rows 2 ~ 34,999, and then do the the
click and drag thing. Altho the rows are hidden, the formula is still
pasted in.

One more to try. Assuming you do want all the rows to have the formula.
Click on the cell with the formula, put cursor over the bottom right corner
to display the fill handle (crosshair), double click left mouse button. this
should fill all the rows in the column with the fomula.
