Copying folders while keeping the same permission setting

I would like to copy a shared folder, which has many sub folders with
different permissions on them, from a hard drive to another hard drive while
keeping the permissions on the all folders, and sub-folders in Windows XP.
Is there a way I can copy all the folders and sub-folders with the existing
permissions on them?
Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Beware that in some versions this is a most unreliable app.

Cobian Backup or robocopy might be better choices.
