copying files from CD-RW

I had copied My Document folder from my laptop to a CD-RW. When I click on
the CD icon in My Computer to see the My Document folder on CD-RW my computer
opens up the My Document folder from my desktop not from CD-RW. So, I can not
see the saved, old dated My Documents folder on CD-RW. Why?

How did you copy the file? It's possible, using some methods, to copy not
the files but simply a shortcut to them. And that would cause what you
describe.

You might examine the CD properties to see how much data is on it. If it
doesn't contain the amount you expect, the copy probably didn't happen the
way you wished.
