Hi,

Copy them from G:\Windows\favorites to your local profile and overwrite if
prompted:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\favorites

I cant find anything in windows\favorites are they in a sub folder windows\?\favorites . Where are these bloody things I've been looking for ages?

thanks for answering rick

Hi,

In Win98, the favorites are stored under \windows\favorites. You may have
the system set to hide folders with the system attribute. Open Windows
Explorer, click tools/folder options, go to the view tab, and set the
options so that you can see hidden and system folders. Then try again.

Unless he has created users then they are not at \windows\favorites
