copying errors when installing xp pro

during the stage where the setup program is copying the setup files to the
hard drive, there is always at least 1 or 2 files which it cannot copy. I
tried installing windows on the same hardrive using the same cd but on a
different computer ( i connected the hardrive to another computer)and it
installed windows successfully, however upon returning the hardrive to the
orginal computer i received and error saying "netdlr is missing" i have tried
all the various trouble-shooting for this "netdlr error" with no success. I
cant attribute these two errors to a common problem.

That's defiently NOT the way to install xp,the drive would never work if
xp was/is installed on a diffrent board.Try booting to xp cd,recovery,in
recovery
typeiskPart In DiskPart delete the partition,create one,then press Esc
key,
back in cmd,type:FORMAT C: /FS:ntfs When its thru type:EXIT XP will install
auto,also,press enter key for password to recovery.
