Copying Data from the Web into Excel

I have been copying financial statement data from the web
into excel for analysis. I am getting #value error
message when I try to manipulate the numbers. I assume
that the data is in HTML format. Does anyone know how
you either convert the data back into the proper format
or copy the information in a way that is formatted
properly?

Select the numbers, do edit>replace, place the cursor in the find what box
and hold down the alt key while typing 010 on the numpad,
leave the replace with box empty. If this is done a regular basis you can
copy the code from here and select the numbers and run the macro
