Copying contents of message box

Does anyone know how I can copy the text in a message box. This could be
necessary if I get an error message and would like to report it verbatim to
get assistance.

If you're running Windows XP, error messages are present in Control Panel ->
Administrative Tools -> Event Log -> Application Log. As a precaution, press
PrintScrn to do a screen capture of the error dialog and then paste it in MS
Paint.
