How can I copy the contents of a cell to the end of the contents of another cell and yet keep all of the information. For example cell 1A contains the words " square slotted handles and cell 3A has the words "with yellow floral design". How can I copy cell 3A to 1A to make cell 1A to read "square slotted handles with yellow floral design"
Please advise
Thanks,

In an empty cell type
=A1&" "&A3

the empty quotes make a space between the words, if you don't need i
just use
=A1&A3

then copy that and "paste value" back into the cell you want it in

Thanks for the advise -- works like a charm. You have saved me a lot
of time!

Now I will ask the truly impossible:

Is there a way to copy the comtenst of multiple cells to the end of one
cell?
Regards,
Dean

If I understand your question correctly, you can do it the same way.

=A1 & B1 & C1 & D1

If you have one cell that you want to add different endings to, you ca
use an absolute reference ($A$1)

Ex:

=$A$1 & B1 & C1 & D1

when you drag it down, it will keep the A1 as the first part, an
change the other parts to whatever is in B2, C2, and D2. The formul
will look like:

=$A$1 & B2 & C2 & D2

Does that help
