Copying a Word table into PowerPoint

I have a multipage Word table andI've been unable to copy it in its entirety
into PP. Besides hyperlinking, the only solution I can think of is to save
the Word file as a pdf, convert the pdf pages into pngs, jpegs, or gifs, and
then import them into PP. Seems like a lot of steps. Any ideas?
 
use excel for tables and you wont have any problem with tables and
powerpoint
 
export tables from word to excel and then insert excel tables as objects in
powerpoint... or as metafile
