The "copy" problem when starting Windows is apparently caused by spyware
called Ad-show. Open regedit and find "winshow" and delete any key
found. Repeat search with "winlink". Then search on the hard drive
for .dll files that are winshow.dll and winlink.dll and delete. Reboot.
Be extremely careful in the registry. In fact, you might want to run
the spyware removal tools Spybot Search & Destroy
(www.security.kolla.de) and Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) first. Be
sure to update those programs before running them. I don't know if they
look for Winshow yet. It is preferrable to run the removal tools in
Safe Mode.
